The legal basis for the contribution regulations is §5 of the statutes of the Health Media Award e.V. The contribution regulations should serve the purpose of the association – the promotion of health education at national, European or International level, i.a. by the awarding of a certificate and/or award, the Health:Angel, as well as the purposes listed in the contribution – financially. In addition, the contribution regulations should enable the association financially to act as sponsor of the competition “Health Media Award” and organizer of the accompanying award ceremony. The association collects the subsidy membership fees for this purpose.
For sponsoring members – deviating from the annual turnover – the size of the company or the number of employees can be used for the calculation of the annual membership fee. In principle, the calculation of the membership fee depends on the number of employees, plus the number of owners, shareholders, managing directors and the contributing family members.
For organisations, the number of members is to be used. It must be equated with the number of employees in a company. For non-profit organizations or start-ups, the board decides on the membership fee to be paid.
The minimum contribution for each sponsoring member, up to 50 employees, is 2.100,00€ per Year for an annual membership (or 175,00€) for a monthly membership. In addition, the following graduation applies:
An admission fee will not be charged. All membership fees are exclusive of VAT.
The membership fees have to be paid by the sponsoring member within 21 days in advance for the first 12 months after admission to the association Health Media Award e.V., and after an invoice has been issued. Joining in the second half of the calendar year is possible at the half of the contribution rate of the corresponding level.
The membership fees are due on the 5th of January of each calendar year, or at the time a new sponsoring member is joining the association, Health Media Award e.V. Upon termination of the sponsoring membership and termination of the membership rights, no pro-rata repayment of the annual membership fee will be made. In the case of a direct debit payment to the association Health Media Award e.V., by the sponsoring member, the membership fee is reduced by 15% per month.
The sponsoring member must ensure punctual payment of the contribution. If the sponsoring membership fee has not been received by the association at the due date (see 3.1), the sponsoring member is in arrears. This results in the outstanding contribution being charged with 10% interest for each delayed day. Should – in case of a direct debit – the account of a sponsoring member not cover the contribution by the time it is due, the supporting member is liable to the association for all costs incurred by the association with the collection of the contribution of the sponsoring member (debt collection) and for any chargebacks. The same applies if no direct debit mandate has been granted by the sponsoring member.
In the case of reminders regarding missing or delayed membership fees, reminder fees of € 75.00 per reminder will be charged. Debt collection costs are charged 1:1 as they occur to the sponsoring member by the debt collection agency commissioned by the association Health Media Award e.V.
Contributions are payable to the account of the association Health Media Award e.V.
