For the third time, the Health Media Award honored media appearances. Leading doctors, health experts, nutrition specialists, marketing strategists, journalists, communication professionals and politicians came together to share their experiences at the trendforum gesundheit (tg) in the Wolkenburg in Cologne. The trend congress and the Health:Angel award ceremony were moderated by Antonia Langsdorf and ZDF business journalist Michael Jungblut. WDR live reporter Pia Bierschbach elicited one or two interesting facts from the award winners during her interviews. The laudatory speech for Ranga Yogeshwar (Quarks & Co) was held by Prof. Axel Beyer, Head of Entertainment at WDR. The Health:Angel for the lifetime achievement "Bodyworlds" was accepted by Gunther von Hagens together with his wife Dr. Angelina Whalley.
Charlotte Ortmann, Nightwash comedian Frank Fischer and Holger Edmaier provided the interim entertainment with excerpts from their current live programs.
