On 6 July 2012, under the moderation of Aljosha Höhn and the direction of Prof. Axel Beyer, the winners of the 5th Health Media Award were announced in the Musical Dome Cologne. Around 200 invited guests as well as NRW Minister of Health Barbara Steffens accepted the invitation to the health and media city of Cologne.
A total of 108 candidates competed for the Health:Angel. The winners in the categories were:
