While other competitions are taking a break, the Health Media Award will be presented again this year. This year, the "Oscar" of health communication goes not only to companies, agencies and associations, but also once again to prominent faces who have rendered outstanding services to health communication. With the actress Liz Baffoe and the Moderator Ben Streubel this year, the jury deliberately honored personalities who combine successful health communication with a very personal story.
Actress and fashion designer Liz Baffoe uses her fame to raise awareness for health and fitness. Her free "Training with Liz & Ben" is now one of the most popular online workouts in Germany. Training with Liz & Ben" is sponsored by Personal trainer Ben Schneider from "NAO-PT" led. Sport and exercise are not only gaining in importance in the home office, but are generally of great importance for a healthy life. Not only the concept of the training was convincing, but also the marketing via social media channels. Thus Liz Baffoe reaches over Instagram more than 73,400 people and triggers numerous interactions with each of her posts. The award winner is also present on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
The among other things from the television series "Castle Einstein" and the SWR3 LiveLyrix Tour confessed Liz Baffoe on receiving the 2020 Health Media Award:

The jury also gave an award to Ben Streubel, host of the Entertainment format "SWR3-LiveLyrix. The messages and stories of the song lyrics staged and acted out on stage conveyed not least health issues. It was impressive, for example, how a songwriter tells how his life changes after overcoming cancer. With a range from suicidal thoughts (Hurts - Wonderful life) to drug problems (Pink Floyd - Comfortably numb) to life-affirming positive songs, a SWR3 Live Lyrix evening is also always important "wellness for the soul.
"Sometimes the connection between the favorite hit and the linked lyric message is the little bit left over for the knot to burst into realization"says Ben Streubel. This shows why the live format deserves a Health Media Award. The Health Media Award has now been presented for 12 years. Year after year, the competition honors the best communications achievements with a view to the health industry. Whereas in previous years there was always an awards ceremony with hundreds of guests, including many celebrities, this year the award will be presented without a large gala event. As in previous years, the award is a sculpture by Italian artist Massimo Bramandi. The Health:Angel is scheduled to be presented in the cathedral city after the corona pandemic has been contained in 2021.
