Cyrano Kommunikation, the communications and advertising agency based in Münster and Munich, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a major customer event. The agency was founded in Münster in 1998 as a two-man company. Since then, the full-service agency has grown to more than 100 experts in the fields of communications consulting, editing, creation, social media and IT at both locations. The team supports companies, associations and institutions from all over Germany and implements the entire range of communication services, from small websites to nationwide campaigns.
Focus on the future of communication
The anniversary was characterized by a look into the future of communication.
"We see our task very much in picking up on upcoming developments and trends in communication and preparing our customers for them."
emphasizes Managing Director Markus Eicher. In a Cyrano survey on communication trends of the future, customers and experts identified the areas of sustainability and the environment, health and artificial intelligence as key drivers for further development.
"Challenges await us here, which we want to actively accept and shape together with our customers and partners."
says Managing Director Oliver Pauli. Fittingly, generation researcher and Spiegel bestselling author Rüdiger Maas The anniversary event will provide exciting insights into what makes the generations tick.
On the evening of the event, there was also a very special surprise: Cyrano was presented with the Health:Angel for his work in healthcare communication over the past ten years as part of the anniversary celebration. Cyrano has developed a particularly strong profile in this area with political campaigns and image campaigns for the ABDA Federal Union of German Pharmacists' Associations, which represents all 18,000 pharmacies in Germany, campaigns for flu and coronavirus vaccinations and work for numerous state associations and chambers of pharmacies, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies.
Experts in key industries
The agency has also built up this special expertise in the areas of food and retail, agriculture, hydrogen and the energy industry, science communication, employer branding and communication for chambers and associations. However, the range of topics covered for clients over the 25 years is much wider. "Our aim is always to become experts for our clients and to really understand them down to the last detail. Only then can tailor-made, effective communication be created," emphasizes Markus Eicher. In addition to ABDA, clients for whom this work has been and continues to be carried out include BASF, Bünting, the German Research Foundation, Edeka, GlaxoSmithKline, Provinzial and the Würth Group.
The name of the agency goes back to Cyrano de Bergerac. The 17th century French author is best known for the play by Edmond de Rostand which has been made into many films. In the story, he helps his less eloquent friend to win the heart of his beloved with melodious letters. In this spirit, the agency wants to stand behind its customers and let them shine in the best light with creative work.
