Health:Angel handed over to Noah Fischer

COVID-19 and the school closures have had a massive impact on the development of many children. The climate crisis, the wars in Ukraine and Gaza are scaring many people, but especially children. Many children are fleeing the war. They feel safe in Germany, but often also somehow alone. On the occasion of the show ABBAMANIA the jury team WESTWOOD and SUIKAT, together with the founder of the prize and selected prizewinners, was able to award the Health:Angel to Noah Fischer who has been working for the Udo Lindenberg Foundation and Unicef on behalf of children for many years.

"Art and culture are the underestimated kit of our society. Music plays a special role here. Especially in times of uncertainty and crisis, we need low-threshold opportunities to meet each other. To connect with each other. Situations in which language is irrelevant. Moments in which origin doesn't matter. Music is a key that can unlock frightened souls. You dear Noah are not only one of the most gifted saxophonists in Europe, you also build bridges with music. You are not only a UNICEF sponsor but also the artistic director of the project Behind the horizon sets a precedent. With this fantastic project, you are providing a stage for children at disadvantaged schools. A stage on which they can meet each other. A stage on which they can become stars together, regardless of language and origin. It is not uncommon for children who have been in Germany for months or years to arrive for the first time thanks to your work. The jury of the Health Media Award recognizes your extensive commitment by presenting you with the Health:Angel, the 'Oscar' of the healthcare industry. The award, which was created by the artist Massimo Bramandi in a sweaty fire, is intended to honor your exemplary commitment and at the same time continue to inspire you. Congratulations and thank you dear Noah! You are not only a deserving prizewinner, but also a beacon of hope for many people!"

Ralph Suikat, Deputy Grand Jury President

Almost 6,000 people experienced the LANXESS Arena the largest ABBA tribute show the world.

"On the occasion of my 25th anniversary in the service of international entertainment, I am delighted that the Health:Angel has landed safely in the LANXESS Arena for the first time ever. The idea of the Grand Jury for Art and Culture, combined with celebrity recognition and professional exchange in the circle of a box or backstage, is important and also right"
