On 28 June 2013, the best in healthcare communication were once again honoured with the Health:Angel at the Hotel im Wasserturm in Cologne. Dr. hc. Fritz Pleitgen, President of the German Cancer Aid, accepted the award for the project Against Smoking. Prof. Dr. Elisbeth Pott, Director of the BZgA – Federal Centre for Health Education, held the laudation for the German AIDS Foundation, which was honoured with an honorary Health:Angel. Comedian Dr Ludger Stratmann was awarded the Comedy Health:Angel for his stage programme Medizynisches Kaberett.
